This whole idea all started with an invitation to present my poster at a conference. Not just any conference, but a lovelyyy beach conference at a resort. I spent many months working my butt off triple checking my analyses, aligning my figures and making all words the same font and size, but a week before the presentation I realized I hadn’t thought of something pretty important: how to dress for a beach conference! Of course, I scoured the internet to no avail, and ended up packing approximately one million outfits for any possible scenario. There are so many situations to navigate as a budding scientist, from questioning outfits to questioning career paths, and I always thought a guide would sure be nice. So, I decided to make one!
